Fancy a pint? It’s cheaper up here!

You might be pleased to hear that beer drinkers in Yorkshire are getting a decent deal on the price of a pint compared to other places in the UK.

According to the Good Pub Guide 2017, the average price for a pint of beer in Yorkshire is £3.25. Our friends down south are paying almost a pound a pint more, with Londoners paying an average of £4.08 per pint. The Good Pub guide 2017, known as a ‘bible for pub-goers’, is the UK’s No 1 bestselling guide and features over 5,000 pubs organised county by county.

The guide revealed that Surrey is the most expensive area outside London with a pint averaging at £3.75. So next time you’re supping a pint in a Yorkshire pub you can feel a little bit smug that you’re northern!

Top 10 most expensive places to buy a pint:
1. London – £4.08
