The well-known pizza restaurant will be opening in Leeds next month following a huge success in Manchester and other venues over recent years.
Rudy’s will launch its pizzeria at the end of February at 2 New Station Street, in the unit where Evans Cycles used to be.
The pizzeria has gained quite the reputation since first opening its doors in 2015, recently being ranked by global travel platform, The Big Seven Travel, as the 10th best pizza in the world and number three in Europe along with being rated ‘No.1 Pizzeria in the UK’ by Trip Advisor.
In true Neapolitan style, Rudy’s make their dough on site every day, giving it 24 hours to double ferment and just 60 seconds to cook.
Specialities include ancozzese affumicata, a ‘white pizza’ with chilli flakes, smoked mozzarella, Tuscan sausage, friarielli (wild broccoli) and olive oil, or calabrese with spicy soft Calabrain sausage that melts into the pizza.
To celebrate the opening of the 100-cover restaurant, which is just a short distance from Leeds station, the company is giving away an astonishing 3,000 free Neapolitan pizzas.
General Manager Hannah Holmes said: “We can’t wait to open Rudy’s Leeds at the end of February and are inviting you all to try our pizza on us.”
