Manchester Brown Street is set to be Humpit’s twelfth site, as the vegan food chain has planned to open the doors near the famous Arndale Centre this April.
Since starting out in Leeds as a street vendor, Humpit has seen a huge growth in success since its 2014 debut, expanding across the country in more Yorkshire locations, the South and even Scotland.
And now the people of Manchester will have their chance to tuck into the delicious Greek creations at the restaurant, where they’ll be serving up some of their much-loved meals such as hummus filled pittas, hummus salads and hummus bowls filled with chickpeas and falafel.
Everything is hummus-filled and vegan at this upcoming hotspot – who are even stocking vegan brownies if you’d like to finish your lunch off with something sweet.
Students of the city will already be well acquainted with Humpit, who currently run a pop-up site at the university union. However a brand new, central location means that the rest of the Mancunian public can enjoy the Hummus creations too!
The chain has other exciting plans for 2020, and its Manchester opening is just the beginning of it. Writing on their website, they confirmed:
“Later in the year, we hope to open our first central London store in a location that’s currently a well-guarded secret but that will hopefully impress the workers of the capital city. We are very excited about being in London, the gateway to the world and home to some incredible food brands who we admire greatly.”
