Costa will give you a free muffin this Thursday if you have the right name…

Selected Costa Coffee shops will be giving away one of their speciality muffins: A Terry’s chocolate orange one, no less! Three out of the four participating stores are in Yorkshire.

The lucky few who can get their hands on the muffin this Thursday will have to meet strict criteria, and go by the name of Terry, Terri or Teri. Costa has organised this as a celebration of people who share their name with the much-loved chocolate treat.

The one-day festive giveaway will take place exclusively in participating stores in York, Leeds, Sheffield and London – where locals have proven themselves to be the ultimate Terry’s Chocolate Orange fans, consuming more chocolate oranges than their total populations.

Available as part of Costa Coffee’s limited-edition Christmas menu, the Terry’s Chocolate Orange Muffin is filled with chocolate orange sauce and topped with a segment of the iconic Terry’s Chocolate Orange.

The famous Terry’s chocolate orange causes quite the national frenzy year after year, with over 38million flying off the shelves in the run up to Christmas last year.

For this Thursday only, if your name is Terry, Terri or Teri, as a name or surname, simply your show your ID in one of the following participating stores to get your hands on a free Terry’s Chocolate Orange Muffin:
