Yorkshire pudding pizza: Food heaven or hell?

A bit like Marmite, a Yorkshire pudding pizza will either horrify you or get your taste buds tingling.

One thing’s for sure – you need to get down to your nearest Morrison’s sharpish if you want to give this unusual combination a go as they’re only available until February 20.

Will all those toppings guarantee a dreaded soggy bottom? Or will the tomato sauce and heaps of mozzarella combine with the pud to make an unexpected taste sensation?

The jury’s out on whether the £3 price tag is justified but with half term now in full swing, there’s no denying this novelty pizza/pud is fun and likely to be a big hit with kids.

It is available in two flavours: classic pepperoni or meat feast – made up of mini meatballs, pepperoni, spicy beef and jalapeno chillies.
