FIREPIT, Beverley – A must visit!

Wine & Dine Yorkshire were invited to FIREPIT in Beverley to see what was on offer.

Home of the ROUND FOR A POUND on Fridays which is exactly what it says on the tin, buy 1 round and get your next one for £1, we couldn’t wait to try the smokehouse that is one of the hottest in town.

On arrival, you could tell straight away there was an excellent atmosphere. The restaurant’s interior was modern as well as having a cosy feel.

A particular shoutout to Miles, the restaurant manager, as he couldn’t do enough for us, was so friendly and we will definitely be returning to see him again!

For starters, we went for Nachos with Pulled Pork (£12.45) and Southern Fried Chicken Fillets (£7.45)

The nachos were a very good portion size and could easily be shared as a starter. The pulled pork was amazing, literally fell to bits and was so tasty, the perfect topping in our eyes to go with crunchy tortilla chips and of course the toppings we all love.

Spicy chicken fillets cooked to perfection, the crispy outside and succulent chicken were accompanied with perfect amount of mayo presented beautifully, as were all the dishes we were served.
For the main part of our meal, we opted for two burgers. The Big Bill Burger (£15.95) was simply amazing! Wine & Dine Yorkshire highly recommends you try this dish if you visit was you will not be disappointed. A 170g beef patty topped with plenty of beef brisket, pit beans and Monterey Jack cheese. The cheese oused flavour and was melted perfectly, along with the tenderness of the patty, the burger was fully of juices that made you savour every bite.

We also had the Mac Daddy Burger (£17.95) which again was presented beautifully and so juicy! This patty was sat under fried chicken, smoked streaky bacon, truffled Mac & Cheese bites and chili aioli. A huge burger! Each part was super succulent and a great order for someone with a large appetite. We shall definitely be ordering these again, as well as working our way through the whole burger menu!

As if this wasn’t enough, we also ordered Fired Up Onion Rings (£2.95) and a Mini Mac & Cheese (£3.95) to go with our burgers. Both were great size portions for a side order. The onion rings were very crunchy, as they should be! The Mini Mac & Cheese was possibly the best we have ever had. Full of flavour and well presented, again you HAVE to order this if you visit.

Not forgetting the Dirty Fries with Brisket (£9.95). Again, the brisket was unbelievably soft and melted in your mouth. We are so glad we ordered side orders of the same toppings we had on our burgers as these honestly were the stars of the show.

As you can probably tell reading this review, we were hugely impressed with our food and couldn’t fault anything. It’s the perfect place for a catch-up with friends or if you want to celebrate a special occasion. The menu offers something for everyone and is great for those who love getting stuck into their food.

A huge thank you to the staff at FIREPIT for an amazing evening, we will certaintly be back and hope many of our readers also visit if they are local to Beverley or are ever visiting!
