To celebrate William’s Den launching their own ice cream, Wine & Dine Yorkshire was invited to sample all it had to offer.
Wine & Dine Yorkshire’s, Marketing Executive Lisa Caley, tells us about the visit and how delicious the ice creams were.
We are greeted by Christian and Tor with champagne to a lovely calm relaxing atmosphere in the Kitchen table restaurant. After chatting we was given free reign of Williams Den and use of all facilities as we pleased which the children loved (us adults secretly did as well!).
We was then told about the ice creams and where the idea came from. Tor’s grandmother used to make ice cream with her when she was a child and her childhood was heavily influenced by her grandmothers cooking, so she wanted to incorporate this into the Den.
Their milk and cream is sourced from the only creamery in East Yorkshire; St Quentin’s Creamery near Driffield, and family from the creamery owners also attended the event, it gave a lovely local supportive feel. You could tell everyone was very pleased with the final product, and we certainly was too.
We then moved back into the restaurant where we could choose unlimited amounts of many flavoured ice cream, sundae or milkshake! We chose unicorn flavour, clotted cream, salted caramel and chocolate. All of which was delicious!
Available on the menu is shakes, sundaes and desserts to suit anyones taste. This is the perfect place for all the family, as there really is something for everyone. The delicious ice cream is available in cones, tubs and in sundaes, so why not pop over to The Kitchen Table to sample all the sweet treats for yourselves.
Overall it was a great evening with great hosts showing all the great facilities they have to make it this the ultimate family attraction. You can pop in for an ice cream without having to pay to play, so pop in if you are driving by!
