Leading actors from Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre’s The Tempest cooked up a storm of enchantment at The Cookery School at The Grand on Wednesday, July 17th.
Sam Callis, who plays Prospero, Maggie Bain who’s Antonia, Christopher Logan as Trinculo and Flo Wilson, who’s Gonzala will be aided by the school’s magical Head Tutor Andrew Dixon.
As The Tempest is set on an island near Italy, the stage stars will feast on an array of delicious fresh fish and shellfish.
Based in York’s finest hotel, The Cookery School at The Grand opened in March 2019 and offers express, half- and full-day courses focussing on a selection of International cuisines and speciality classes.
Led by Head Tutor, Andrew Dixon, the Cookery School is designed for novice and aspiring chefs, with classes inspired by cuisine from around the world.
Not only is our cookery school the perfect setting for leisure guests, but it’s also set to add a dynamic and immersive element to conference and events for our business clientele.
